How it works

  1. Pick a real scenario

    Each scenario gives you a goal, like ordering at a night market and finding out the price.

  2. Hold the conversation

    Speak, and the character replies straight away. Your words are transcribed as you talk, and their lines appear in pinyin, with English when you want it. Stuck? Ask for a hint.

  3. Get personal feedback

    See which goals you reached, a clearer way to say what didn't land, and how your pronunciation came across.

  4. Work on pronunciation

    Say a phrase, and a speech assessment shows which syllables were hard to make out.
